It felt very safe and cosy during the miserable weather and has good space for a family to enjoy. Take Teresa's advice about parking in town before locating the house - it is up a very steep and narrow road. We had a great stay and I'm sure you will too.”

“We had a fab week In Barmouth. The house is in the perfect place - just a couple of minutes walk from the bustle of Barmouth but removed enough to have a little peace and a great view to the sea. There is no garden or vehicle access but the views and the spaciousness of the house make up for it, and the owners provide parking nearby. Definitely recommended.”

What a wonderful view! I looked forward to waking each morning just to see the view of the sea from the window at the end of the bed! The house was much bigger than I expected, in a great location and with everything we needed for a really comfortable break. Really peaceful and relaxing, thank you. Will definitely be recommending to others visiting the area.

A wonderful stay at Gwril View- fabulous location, terrific views, and a warm comfortable and very well equipped cottage too. The perfect retreat for anyone wishing to rest and relax in superb surroundings. We will definitely be returning ASAP!

We are recently back from our third stay at Gwril View and we still love it every bit as much as the first time. Its central location is perfect for accessing everything beautiful Barmouth has to offer and the cottage itself is such a lovely, comfortable place to stay. The weather this time wasn't great but there is so much to do in the area that we still struggled to fit everything in that we wanted to do. We have been coming to Barmouth for over ten years now and this is the only accommodation we have used more than once. I am pretty sure we will be back again next year as well!!
A new recommendation is the Corris Mine Explorations based at Corris Craft Centre, a very well priced activity, ideal for a wet day out and a real insight into the history of the area. We ate at The Anchor a couple of times, right on the harbour we enjoyed excellent food with even better views! And no trip to Barmouth is complete without a walk up the rock to take in the spectacular scenery and an evening on the harbour catching crabs is something else we never tire of either.
I know there are so many options when it comes to accommodation in Barmouth and the surrounding area but for us nowhere beats Gwril View. Thanks again Teresa for letting us use your wonderful cottage x

We had the pleasure of staying at Gwril view in June and we were delighted with the house. It's spacious, comfortable, homely, in a great position and has everything you can think of to make a great holiday. We would recommend Gwril view to anyone and hope to return for another stay.

Stayed at Gwril View last weekend for two nights. Upon arrival I immediately felt at home as it had a real homely feel to it. Every room in the cottage is tastefully decorated and has lots of little quaint features. The position is perfect and the view from the bedroom window is absolutely amazing. I would have no hesitation staying here again, either Winter or Summer. Teresa, the owner, has made a real effort to make this cottage everything it is. Well done Teresa, it's certainly a hit with me.

We LOVE Gwril View!! We had a fabulous week - it is a real home from home in the perfect location with amazing views of the beach. We would recommend The Captains Table and Knickerbockers for those new to the town. Barmouth is a wonderful little town with everything you need for a true seaside holiday and we come back almost every year. If only we could come back to Gwril View, but sadly it isn't big enough for our usual group.

I had a fantastic birthday weekend with friends and my husband really enjoyed his walking weekend. The cottage is a great base and is well located with everything you need. Fab time will definitely go again.

Oh how lovely it is to see Gwril View on here. This was our first home together in 1997 and where we got engaged. We loved the views and would pull up some chairs with the sash windows up taking in the view on sunny days. The kitchen has been modernised since we were renting it! ...I just wanted to comment on the cottage we used to love and have so many lovely memories of.

FANTASTIC accommodation and location!! Beach, harbour, shops etc are less than five minutes on foot as well as the local train station. Gwril View has everything you would need for a great holiday and is both clean & tidy with stunning sea views from upstairs. We had such a great weekend break last year that we came back for a week (Easter 09) and it just gets better!! We really LOVE Gwril View and will definitely be coming back some time soon. Highly recommended.

Great accommodation, want for nothing. The wine on arrival was a nice surprise. Views from the first floor were fantastic. The hill up to the cottage took a bit of getting used to. Very clean and very comfortable well worth a visit would highly recommend.
